An update

I originally planned to use this blog as something to sharpen my creative writing skills. However for two reasons I stopped, Firstly it soon became apparent that my stories were too long to be edited and placed online the shortest two are currently posted and they are considerably smaller than the others, because of this I decided to join a creative writing group instead. Secondly because I was completing my final year of university and as my finals approached my fears increased. For those of you wondering I now have a 2:1 in Chinese and History from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) University of London, so it wasn't all in vain.

This presents me with a problem on this blog as I no longer know in which direction to take it. Chinese cooking, translations or blogging on the Chinese news scene are all viable options. If anyone has any preferences then please let me know.

And thank you to the Happy Whisk for re-awakening this blog.

Best wishes Luke

  1. Howdy Hello. Nice to see you again.

Congrats on the writing group. I say write about anything and everything that interests you.

Have fun with it, by gosh.

Okay doke. Time for me to get back to the kitchen. My bagel dough is rested and ready to boil and bake.

    Happy Blogging :-)

  2. Are you still part of the writing group? Was it a class or part of a bigger organization?

What did you like best about it?

    Okay ... now I'm really going ...

  3. Hi I was part of the university writing and publishing group, but now I have graduated and moved to the south west for the summer I will have to find a new group. Many of the people there wrote for the student newspapers others focused on stories and novels.
